Studying MSc-level Electrical Engineering at Vilnius University feels modern, research-oriented, and international. Students often like the balance between theory and practical work, especially in electronics and telecommunications subjects. The lecturers are generally described as supportive, and the university environment feels welcoming for international students.
The program can be academically demanding, especially for students without a strong engineering background, but the modern labs and research opportunities make it worthwhile. Many students also appreciate the multicultural atmosphere and career opportunities in Lithuania’s growing tech sector.

Vilnius University’s Master’s program in Electronics and Telecommunications has been a solid choice for me. The course content is well-structured, and there’s a good balance between theory and practical application. In the second year, we get to dive deeper into specialized areas, which I find really interesting. The university environment is supportive, and the faculty is always willing to help with academic or even personal issues. The diversity in the program is also a big plus; I’ve had the chance to work with students from different countries, which has broadened my perspective.
That said, some of the courses are quite challenging, and the pace can feel a bit overwhelming at times. But the challenge is also what makes it rewarding. If you’re prepared to put in the effort, this program offers a lot in terms of academic and personal growth.
