As a Master’s student in International and European Law at Vilnius University, I have had a very good experience so far. I really like the university’s international atmosphere and the diversity of students from different countries and backgrounds. It creates a friendly environment where you can learn not only from professors but also from other students.
The professors are knowledgeable and generally supportive, and I appreciate that classes encourage discussion, critical thinking, and looking at legal issues from different perspectives. I also enjoy studying in the historic university environment, which gives Vilnius University a unique atmosphere.
One thing I find challenging is the workload, as there is quite a lot of independent reading and preparation required. However, I think this is also an important part of developing academically and professionally.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Vilnius University to future students, especially those interested in International and European Law. It offers a strong academic environment, an international community, and a great opportunity to experience student life in Vilnius.
