Lithuania is a stunning and a surprisingly vibrant place to live and study in. I really felt part of a large student community all committed to learning. The Undergraduate community in the Mechatronics and robotics Department is genuinely very friendly and keen to impart knowledge to you. Being able to meet with everyone on your course and other undergraduates and lecturers in coffee breaks on site is an excellent way to relax whilst taking advantage of the expertise all around you.
The academic experience and the overall student experience have benefited my personal development hugely. I have access to fantastic facilities, all within walking distance on campus. VGTU has provided me with high quality lectures and amazing facilities and I have a great social life here. The university’s great at integrating every student into university life.
The most important thing for me about the university experience is the chance to grow as a person, as well as academically. VGTU has exceeded my expectations. I was so quiet when I first started here and now I have gained confidence and am less quiet.
The library is open 24/7 during term time and is so useful. There are several different types of learning areas, silent study, group study. I have used all of these areas for different types of work and they have been really helpful.
I believe that VGTU has made me a more confident and independent individual. It has opened doors that I never thought were available and let me experience things I never thought I would. I have been able to try new things and make new friends as well as discover knowledge in something I am so interested in.
I chose to study at VGTU because I was looking for a university that has both a strong teaching programme and opportunities to develop robotics skills to allow me to have a successful career. VGTU continues to ensure that all students are able to gain practical experience and enjoy being part of a vibrant and diverse university community.
Actually I didn’t find much of cons, as I just came here to do B.Sc , which is basic/necessity of all skill full workers. But for master studies, this University needs to grow it’s level a bit more if you compare with other european universities.
