Studying at the European Humanities University has given me an incredibly diverse academic experience. The university offers a unique mix of subjects—I’ve explored marketing, PR, journalism, media studies, semiotics, copyright law, and much more. One of the most exciting opportunities was taking a class on urban studies in collaboration with an American university of Beirut. This interdisciplinary approach allows students to develop a broad skill set and discover unexpected interests.
Beyond academics, EHU fosters a vibrant student life. I actively participate in various initiatives, including a book club where we discuss literature and cultural topics. One of the highlights of my experience was organizing a film festival on the university’s platform. It became a significant cultural event, showcasing student films and fostering discussions about cinema.
Of course, there are challenges—administrative processes can be slow, and some resources could be improved. However, if you are looking for an academic environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on experience across different disciplines, I would definitely recommend EHU.
