Studying architecture at the American University of Beirut was a challenge, from the day of my acceptance to the day of graduation. The program was mainly based on designed courses, yet it missed out on the technical applications of architecture in general. There is a variety of architecturally related electives, but they were limited during my time because of Covid-19. With the help of the professors and my efforts hand in hand, the journey became easier in a sense.
I had the opportunity to accommodate on campus which helped me, even more, to blend in and make myself comfortable for the 5 years of the program. The location of the university with all its facilities and surrounding ones make it easy to live there. As days passed, AUB became home- it still is home!
