My lecturers were the best I loved my course of study lessons were very interactive and stimulating. Online courses have now been introduced but the physical attendance made all the difference. Group work was also common and best students awarded.

Makerere University is one of the oldest and among the best universities in Africa, established in 1922 as a technical institution, it grew into a internationally recognised chartered University. Besides Presidents, Makerere University is known for producing various known proffesionals such as International Court of Justice (ICJ) Julia Sebutinde, Mukhisa Kituyi former Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development among others.
I rate Makerere University highly because its degree programs are recognised across the world and its research competes favorably across the globe.
A few of my likes is the consistency the institution has shown for over 100 years, upgrade of its lecture facilities and other insttution infrastucture.
There are few dislikes about the situation. In the past my major dislike was the growing culture of school strikes inside the university, however of late this has been dealt with.
I also dislike the fact that some of the students who harbor political ambitions have a few times used by politicians seeking after their own gains.
What stands out for me about Makerere University is that my Transcript and Certificates are recognised all over the world in major countries such as Germany, USA and are considered at par with majority of Institutions of higher learning in those countries

It’s a good University with a good learning environment. I liked the religious Liberty offered since everyone is allowed to practice their religious beliefs without hinderance. However the challenge I met some lecturers were not that accomodating.

Makerere university is known for its prestige and legacy that dates back to the early 90s and beyond. it has always been a unique institution for higher education and provides a quality education. The university provides ample opportunities for students, has a diverse student body and is actively involved in community engagement. there are some things the university can do better such as, bureaucratic inefficiencies, particularly in the areas of registration, academic support, and administrative processes, Addressing transportation and accessibility challenges, especially for students commuting from distant areas, could improve the overall campus experience.
