I appreciated Kenyatta University’s emphasis on group work, diverse lecture formats, including lecture halls, and the provision of swimming classes. The addition of a new library further enhanced the student experience. However, I hope they prioritize improving the hostel areas for better student accommodation.

I had a wonderful experience at Kenyatta University for my master’s. Hands-on lectures, and quick assistance in the department. I loved that we were given the opportunity to exercise our skills within the school. school systems should be integrated thou it tiring walking from one end to another.

This is an excellent institution for higher education and it’s in the top 5 of the most prestigious universities across the country. It has world-class learning centres, student centres, facilities and even a state of the art Library and amphitheatre for performances and arts. The university has some of the most prestigious lecturers and professors who are endlessly aiming to offer the best teaching to students. It has an on-campus shopping mall such that any student can access any facilities for enjoyment and fun. The university is located in a strategic position such that it’s so easy to access from the nation’s capital city while offering an ambient environment with a lot of green space.
Any student who would like to participate in any sporting event is well covered because it has all the facilities to support it. Games such as rugby, hockey, soccer, handball, netball, badminton and so many others have well-organized teams that anyone can freely join.
One thing I would like to emphasize is that the lectures offered are of the highest quality taking the example of my study program BSc.Accounting and finance with easy to access lectures and reading materials. Both online and on-campus options are available for students to choose from. I would highly recommend this university to international students as it’s a world-class university consisting of students from all backgrounds.
An area where the university can improve is mostly managing the ease of access to some facilities because of the high number of students in the university.

I liked the teachers, they were very friendly and resourceful. The student body was the best. I would say some of the staff were a bit uptight but generally ok. The school is international level and I would recommend anyone to study at Kenyatta University.
