What I love about Jkuat is how easy it is to graduate if you are a dedicated student. The education system is good, and I’d give it a 10/10! The university is up to date and supports the students who would love to further their studies.

The institution is great in that it gives students room for growth in academics, spiritual life and also socially. The professors are always willing to help especially with innovation as there are several programs in agriculture that are innovated here.

JKUAT is one of Kenya’s top universities, particularly known for its strong focus on technology, innovation, and applied sciences. It has a solid reputation for producing skilled graduates who excel in engineering, IT, business, agriculture, and public administration. I would recommend anyone to join it for his/her academic journey

JKUAT gives an opportunity for students to gain knowledge in different ways through calssroom,events and extra-curriculum activities. I can say i really excoted to be part of Jkuat since the person i am right comparesd to the one who was joining first year is different in terms of knowledge.

JOMO KENYATTA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY (JKUAT) is a fantastic learning institution. I have been there for a little over two years and in that time, I have been impressed by the workings of the university. One of the things that really stand out to me is the space, JKUAT is a massive school with so many parks where students get a serene environment to study, hold discussions among other things. On top of that, the classrooms are more than enough, I like how students rarely clash venues or miss venues. The learning hours a friendly. In an entire semester stretching out over four months, students are required to study 45 hours per unit, translating to 3 hours per week. I call this friendly because you get loads of free time for personal studies, extracurricular activities and time to do personal activities. JKUAT is strategically situated and students have easy access to all amenities.
Something I dislike about the institution is the long distances one has to walk. Due to its massive size, buildings a really spaced out. But the walking is good for those who fancy walking.

I like the way it catered to my learning through lectures however, i did not like that getting my transcripts or my diploma was harder than the actual class work and tests. I received little to no assistance on their end.

Focusing on practical and hands-on training is one of JKUAT’s noteworthy features, which I love, especially in the sectors of technology and agriculture. The contemporary classrooms, labs, and libraries on the KUAT campus offer a favorable study environment. A thriving student community with a wide range of extracurricular activities and chances for both professional and personal development is another thing the university prides itself on.
All things considered, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is a respectable establishment committed to promoting scholarly achievement, investigation, and originality in Kenya and abroad.

This university is amazing with good people, good learning environment and lecturers. There is sports and clubs whereby you get to participate in your free time. We were able to go for trips several times catering to the students needs.

Jomo Kenyatta University, where I pursued my four-year program from 2015 to 2019, provided a platform for academic growth and research exploration. The university’s focus on research within the curriculum was commendable, encouraging students to develop critical thinking and analytical skills. However, the infrastructure at the university required improvement, although efforts were underway to address this issue. The administrative systems, while functional, were often procedural and time-consuming, warranting a more streamlined approach. Despite these areas for improvement, Jomo Kenyatta University holds promise as an institution committed to academic excellence and offers an environment conducive to research and intellectual growth. With continued efforts towards infrastructure enhancement and administrative efficiency, the university has the potential to further elevate the student experience.
