As a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science student at Technical University of Mombasa, my experience was both academically enriching and personally transformative. The university offers a strong technical foundation, especially in practical labs and hands-on coursework, which prepared me well for real industry systems and remote working environments. The lecturers are knowledgeable and approachable, particularly within the Computing and ICT departments, and they encouraged independent research and innovation.

The campus environment is generally supportive, diverse, and conducive to learning, with access to essential academic resources such as computer labs, library services, and student support programs. However, I believe there is still room for improvement in areas such as administrative response time and upgrading digital systems to improve efficiency for students.

Overall, TUM provides quality education with good value, especially for students interested in technology, engineering, and applied sciences. I would recommend it to students who are motivated, self-driven, and looking for an institution that builds strong technical competence and offers real-world learning exposure.
