Thesis defense
Maseno university is a cross cultural institution. I liked the fact that it was acceptable to have a supervisor from a different institution to offer guidance during the proposal and thesis writing alongside the supervisor from the host institution. And it would be even more interesting if the institution would adopt the mentorship approach as opposed to the supervisory. This further allow for more open discussions among the students and lectures hence more new discoveries could be achieved.
