Makerere University is the best university in Uganda and is among the top 10 universities in the East African region. The university is the oldest in Uganda as it was established in 1922.
The 100years that the University has existed are highlighted with numerous developments. The University has 9 colleges and 1 School which teach different disciplines. The teaching at the University is student centered and the faculty members simply guide the students on this journey. The staff members work for the good of the students rather than against them.
The tuition fees are quite affordable and can be paid in installments.
The university has modern developments that are inclusive of all persons such as persons with disabilities.
Besides supporting students academic endeavors, the University supports a number of extracurricular activities such as sports.
