I have a positive overall experience at Maseno University. There is a conducive learning atmosphere provided by the university, with a mix of both academic development as well as personal development. My professors, such as Benjamin Ombok and Robert Mule, were especially helpful in structuring a strong foundation for my academic development; their instruction was comprehensive, accessible, as well as practical.

I was impressed by Maseno’s firm focus on research, discipline, and innovation. Integrating technology into the curriculum — particularly through the university’s E-campus platform — rendered learning more flexible and contemporary, equipping students adequately for the dynamic international market.

Nevertheless, as with much of the public universities, there were often administrative lags as well as resources issues that can be addressed. Nonetheless, the quality of instruction as well as the helpful community rendered the time there beneficial.

Generally, I enjoyed my stay at Maseno University and I can recommend it to prospective students, particularly those who are self-motivated and willing to take full advantage of the opportunities that the university provides.

Maseno is the best institution so far. I mostly enjoy the serene learning environment and the many available academic resources. Maseno not only offers student learning experiences but also offers leadership opportunities. I feel so great being part of it.

Maseno University is a public university situated along the equator line based in Kisumu, Kenya. The university respects all religions i.e Muslims, Christianity and the rest. There is one big church that is used by Christian students for worship purposes and also there is a mosque for all Muslims. Maseno University respects all religions and observes freedom of worship and this promotes national cohesion among students and the community at large. There is no boring day on campus. Welcome, all to this great university.

I will always mention Maseno University because it is located at the Equator (Where the Earth is divided into two). While at Maseno, one can easily cross into either side of the hemisphere (Northern or Southern hemisphere). The equatorial climate is very friendly to the human body. With favourable average atmospheric temperatures of about 30 degrees centigrade even during the rainy seasons. Unlike other Universities located in cold regions, Maseno University enjoys lovely sun rays, frequent rains, and a multitude of evergreen trees.Additionally, The facility is located a few miles from one of the vibrant Cities in Western Kenya and the third largest city in Kenya, Kisumu City.

Maseno University is an Information Technology hub. All programs are offered with IT. I liked my course because of the great facilitators that handled us. Maseno University is the place to be. Apart from frequent rains, it is an awesome place.

Maseno University is a public university located in Kisumu City. My university is the best in the Lake region as it offers highly marketable courses. The university has taken an initiative to hire mentors and coaches to mentor students and offer free career advice. Every student is entitled to these free service that is provided by the university and for sure many of them have been empowered.

What I admire most about Maseno University is the fact that they consider the student’s welfare very crucial to the well-being of us students. The university has school representatives who act as intermediaries between the school management and the students. If there are issues to be resolved, solutions are arrived at very quickly and this ensures a good relationship among the university students, lecturers, and the staff. I really enjoy studying here.

As per the time taken since the start of my program, I really appreciate the effort the institution is actually delivering in enhancing our profession. So far I’m still in session proceeding with my year two classes.
