“The Law programme at Kisii University provides a solid foundation in legal studies. The lecturers are knowledgeable and dedicated, and the curriculum covers a wide range of subjects that prepare students well for exams and for building a career in law. The student community is supportive, And the university environment makes it easy to interact with peers and learn collaboratively.
On the downside, there are limited opportunities for practical training, such as internships, court attachments, or legal clinics, which are important for applying theory in real-life settings. Some library and online resources could also be expanded to better support research.
Overall, I would recommend the programme to students who are passionate about pursuing law. It is academically rigorous and affordable compared to other institutions, but it requires self-initiative to gain practical experience outside the classroom.”
