at Kenyatta University

My journey at Kenyatta University has been a transformative experience, both academically and personally. The university offers a world class academic environment supported by experienced faculty staff who are committed to student success. I was challenged to think critically, work collaboratively and engage meaningfully with real-world issues, the skills I gained there continues to shape my growth.

What stood out most to me was the vibrant campus life and quality of teaching in the Computing and Information Science (CIS) department and many other schools and departments in the campus. Many lecturers were not only knowledgeable but also approachable and genuinely invested in students’ success. Courses were well-structured and encouraged critical thinking and practical application, especially in project-based units.

Beyond academics, I had the opportunity to participate in leadership and community-based initiatives, which helped me build confidence, communication skills and a deep sense of responsibility.

While some areas such as administration and accommodation can benefit from improvement, the overall experience has been enriching. I would definitely recommend Kenyatta University to students who are eager to learn, grow and lead.
