As a current third-year finance student at Kenyatta University, my overall experience has been a mix of positives and a few challenges.
What I Like:
Academic Quality: The lecturers in the School of Business are knowledgeable and approachable. Most of them have industry experience, which makes the learning process practical and relatable.
Campus Environment: The campus is spacious, green, and relatively well-maintained. There are plenty of places to study, relax, or socialize.
Opportunities for Growth: There are many student-led organizations, academic workshops, and career forums that allow students to build skills beyond the classroom.
Course Variety: The finance program is well-rounded, covering key areas like investment analysis, financial derivatives, and risk management.
What I Dislike:
Administrative Delays: Sometimes, there are delays with registration, timetables, or exam results, which can be frustrating and stressful.
