Masinde Muliro University comprises of students from all over Kenya. It majorly focusses on science and technology and thus a significant difference in male to female population is seen. However akot has been changing with new enrollment as we see more girls explore sciences especially computer science as technology has become a key component in our adult life. Coming to Kakamega where the school is located was such not an easy process. Trying to adjust to the weather, the people, making friends and figuring out classes was quite the journey but i conquered. What makes us here different from most campuses is the diversity and people see each other as people.There is no discrimination and no tribalism what we have is technology and our passion for it.
