For the time i have been at chuka university i have made alot of observations, from student perspective to lecturers,to workers and also neighbours.During exams most students tend to be so busy trying to catch up with syllabus.most of them are away during actual class meetings, some doing businesses, others have immersed themselves in drugs, others are just so lazy they stay at their cribs doing nothing All day watching TikTok videos.so my biggest concern was that lecturers used to Chase away student who haven’t cleared fees they would not sit for their exams and end up having piles of retakes and most of them ends up not graduating and this has contributed to depression alot.some student come from poor backgrounds where their parents struggle to raise fees. However, kenyan government has come up with scholarship programs where students apply and their school fees is catered for then they can pay later when one is employed though this is insane because they say it is free.
