at Nazarbayev University - NU

Nazarbayev University strictly follow academic honesty principle, both during admission and studies. Therefore studying is hard and competitive, benefiting students’ tempered character and strong knowledge base. Living at campus is very comfortable, so that students can focus on studying without any worry. Also students are free of ostentatious participations of students for city and republican events, overall students have and know their rights.

However, there are some aspects that unnecessarily complicate students’ life, such as some overly strict professors/faculties who don’t mind to fail most of their class by low grades, lack of organized student internships for all, service management that often perform poor quality job, such as bad food in canteens, expensive and dirty grocery stores, dormitory rooms with no air flow, bad wifi coverage, unnecessary restrictions on internet access such as gaming platforms, etc.

These comments are to improve students’ life during their studies at Nazarbayev University, not to discourage future applicants from enrolling. By now, there is no other choice in Kazakhstan than Nazarbayev University to study and to get the best knowledge with comparatively best conditions.
