Astana IT University is a unique institution that offers a refreshing take on higher education in Kazakhstan. One of the standout features of this university is its commitment to fostering a collaborative environment among students. Unlike many traditional universities, Astana IT encourages group projects and peer-to-peer learning, which has significantly enhanced my educational experience. The campus is equipped with modern facilities, including spacious study areas and tech labs that are open 24/7, allowing students to work on projects at their convenience.
However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. The university is still in its developmental phase, and some administrative processes can be frustratingly slow. For instance, getting approval for extracurricular activities often feels like navigating a bureaucratic maze. Additionally, while the university promotes a vibrant student life, the options for social activities can be limited, especially for those who are not part of the tech community.
