Astana IT University has a unique vibe that’s hard to describe. It’s a place where tradition meets innovation. For example, the university celebrates Nauryz (Kazakh New Year) with a huge festival featuring traditional games, food, and music. It’s a great way to connect with Kazakh culture and meet new people. The student clubs are also very active—I joined the photography club, and we’ve organized exhibitions showcasing the beauty of Astana. One thing I appreciate is the support system here; the professors are approachable, and there’s a strong sense of camaraderie among students. The only downside is the limited public transportation options, but the university provides shuttles, which helps.
