Astana IT University is a place where technology meets a strong sense of community. What stands out is the university’s unique “peer mentoring” program. As a freshman, I was paired with an upper-year student who guided me through coding assignments and even helped me adjust to life in Astana. The campus itself is sleek and modern, reflecting the university’s focus on digital innovation. One underrated aspect is the co-working spaces – they’re open 24/7, allowing students to collaborate on projects or simply study in a creative environment. The café on campus serves some of the best coffee I’ve had, and it’s a hotspot for brainstorming ideas. Events like “Hack Weekends” bring students together for intense coding marathons, and the sense of camaraderie is incredible. Astana’s winter can be harsh, but the campus is well-connected, and the university community ensures you never feel isolated. It’s a forward-thinking university where technology and teamwork thrive.
