What sets Astana IT University apart is its strong connection to the local startup scene. From the very first semester, we’re encouraged to pitch ideas, develop them into apps, and even get seed funding through university-organized hackathons. The atmosphere here is entrepreneurial—you can feel the excitement in the air. The campus is state-of-the-art, and what I love the most is the open, collaborative spaces. Late-night coding sessions with friends, brainstorming in the common rooms, and the ability to easily approach professors have made this university feel like a second home. The international guest lectures and tech conferences we can attend also keep us ahead of global trends.
