What Is a Modern Languages Degree?
Nowadays, more and more students start to pursue a degree in modern languages. A modern languages degree is not only related to learning a new language but also understand the cultural context of the countries in which the language is spoken.

Modern Languages Degree Structure
Modern Languages Degrees are four years commitments, out of which one semester or a year should be spent abroad – in a partnered institution. This gives students the opportunity to practice the language they are studying and understand a new culture.
Modern Languages is a degree that can be studied either as a single honour degree or a joint honour degree. This gives students the ability to combine modern language with another course such as politics, literature, history and many others.

The professors are truly outstanding: highly competent, well-prepared, sensitive, and honest, while never being rude, distant, or condescending. They have always given me the opportunity to express myself freely and explore different areas, allowing me to grow both academically and personally.
The university itself is also a beautiful place, as many of its facilities are located in historic Renaissance buildings, which makes studying there an especially unique and inspiring experience.
The Student Office is always available and willing to help, and I have always felt supported whenever I needed assistance.
Overall, my experience at the University of Urbino has been, and continues to be, truly excellent. I am very grateful for these two years and for everything they have given me.
