View morePerugia university is one of the oldest universities in Italy. There is a good variety of programs, both in scientifical and humanistic subjects. Apart from the classical courses, there are some innovative propositions, that try to integrate different kinds of subjects into one study programme, which may be very useful for someone who looks for a wider set of academic tools. The university is pretty well connected internationally and has a good foreign department for incoming students. Some of the faculties are located in the historical centre, where spaces are pretty narrow, while some other faculties are located in the most recently build parts of the city. Overall, professors are available for questions and consultations and there is a wide variety of activities and extra-courses possibilities and conventions
View moreIt is a very good university, despite not having a campus and from one faculty to another there is a lot of distance, especially if you have classes in both as was my case, in general the experience was excellent and I would definitely repeat.
View moreI pretty like it, it is good for learning languages such as Italian, English, Russian, Chinese and French, also because of the high number of students from those countries. Yes, I would recommend it, especially for Digital or Mathematical sciences.
View moreAmong the pros of my university were undoubtedly the location of my faculty and the main library, which were inside the historical centre of the city and literally one minute distance from the main square. I was very pleased by the way the scholarships program worked, as it was fast and quite easy to obtain, and to maintain during the university years. In addition, the canteen use was for free for all the scholarship holders (both for lunch and dinner) and the food was fantastic. Also, the student residence experience was great in my opinion. Regarding the professors, i cannot say i was the most pleased by their teaching methods or their attitudes overall, however i understood that they appreciate curiosity and participation and they reward it, so i would say that it’s quite easy to create a good relationship with them and gain their trust.
