Hello,
I wanted to briefly share my university experience. I was behind with my exams, and while the atmosphere was generally friendly, it could get tense depending on the lecturer. I especially remember the law professor, extremely demanding — I had to take the exam three times to get a decent grade.
Being older than most students, I already had my own car, a Peugeot 205, which made me unexpectedly popular with classmates who often needed a ride. It became almost a small network of favors and exchanges.
I graduated in Political Science in Genoa in 1987, and despite how much time has passed, I would still recommend the experience.
View morefor my course (computer science) the experience in unige has been mostly good, some exams may seem very complex but at the end they are manageable. Experience with professors is great too with Some very good and some less good, but most good.Unige offers a lot of support for students, don’t forget to find out about the bonuses you are entitled to (such as scholarships or tuition discounts). My colleagues are also fantastic. I highly recommend my university.
View moreIn my university I study dentistry, at San Martino di Genova, it is a fairly complete university, the professors are very dependent and very competent. The students are very socialised and friendly.
I would definitely recommend this university.
Unige often feels like someone who is trying his best. I personally study Psicology (STP) and i have particular experience with the DISFOR section of Unige. The main porblem of the university always come down to how they are organized: Activity are often prepared late and they not always communicate clearly.
Another big problem is the university website: Instead of changing a page each year by updating the information they just create a new page wich make really hard to navigate it or to find the course of the current year. Still i fell like i’m having a great experience, i really like the subject and most of the professor are gratly prepared and professional.
Unige is an historical university that goes straight to the point, pretty good programme albeit probably not something extremely unique, especially good for undergraduate courses, I think it’s a bit lacking later
