The astrophysics master’s programme is amazing and up-to-date. Recent trends in the field are often discussed. The syllabus is comprehensive and classes are great.
The disability office is great and is very accommodating if you have any disability — something not seen in many universities around the world. However, the psychological support service does not cater to students with psychiatric diagnoses.
The main problem, however, is with finding accommodation once you are in Bologna. The regional body for the right to higher education (ER.GO) has some dorms in the city but in the first year only 6% quota is given to non-EU students making it very hard for first year students to secure a dorm room.
