Old school in the worst possible way
Although my overall experience in Bologna was great, the department of Philosophy is the worst place to study, if you have some interests other than repeating every single thing the professors think. You are not rewarded for your hard work, but solely on conformity. Critical skills are praised, but then only obedience to the status quo is accepted, so much so that I was punished for my interdisciplinary interests.
