View moreI love my university and I usually recommend it. However I always have to mention that we are more focused on theoretical education rather than practical. To be honest that can be a bit challenging from time to time.
View moreMy experience at Politecnico di Torino as an international student is really good. The facilities are exceptional and professors have the experience and the knowledge but the only drawback I found is the communication between the professor and the students and their ability to deliver lessons. It’s one of the only universities in Italy that has so many international bachelor’s programs and so a lot of international people study here and I will recommend Politecnico di Torino.
View moreAfter the hardest and most theoretical first years, I passionately followed this degree course which is well suited to my interests and abilities. I have been involved in several workshops and projects thanks to which, in addition to a good understanding of the subject, good experience in teamwork is obtained.
The study plan in general is in step with current technologies and market needs. Many possibilities of experiences abroad are offered such as a double degree, Erasmus and completion of the thesis at a foreign university. The qualification obtained is excellent for spending in Italy, but also abroad (not so much for the name of the university, but for the good preparation it offers).
One of the few in the class was the organization of the lessons, especially during the early years when it was difficult even to find a place in the classroom. For the rest, all the services are extremely efficient.
As for the city, Turin offers all kinds of experiences, combining liveability in my opinion superior to other large Italian cities.
Finding a house is relatively simple and the rental prices are not even comparable to other cities such as Rome or Milan (I would say that it could be half), as well as the cost of living is lower.
There are also excellent student residences that I happened to attend (not live there), where the structures are well managed and the conviviality between the students makes university life functional for study but also for free time.
I’m very happy to talk about my University. I think it’s a great way to publicize it through the opinions of students who actually live at the university. It’s all very well, maybe the only flaw is the closeness of the exams and the lack of an extra session to take the exams.
View morePolitecnico di Torino is a very well organized institute, activities are interesting, classrooms modern and staff professional. Even though it’s hard, a deegre at this university ensures you a future, an enthusiastic future: so I deeply suggest it!
View moreThe Politecnico di Torino is a typical European engineering university. Very traditional education and average facilities. Due to Italian admission university process, classes in the first years are extremely crowded. Teaching at Mechanical and Automotive departments is one of the strong points of the university.
View moreThe Politecnico di Torino as the name says is located in Turin, North of Italy in a region with a great industrial area around.
In special, the Mechanical Engineering course is a really good one, with a good infrastructure end a very well given content.
