I was enrolled in the architecture program at the University Sapienza in Rome, and my academic journey here has been nothing short of inspiring. From the stunning historical backdrop of Rome to the innovative curriculum, this university has truly shaped my passion for architecture in the most profound way.
The faculty members are not just educators; they are mentors who are deeply invested in nurturing creativity and critical thinking. Their wealth of knowledge, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for the subject, creates an engaging learning environment.
The architecture program at Sapienza is well-structured, offering a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. The multicultural student body adds a unique dimension to discussions, enriching my understanding of architecture from various cultural viewpoints.
One of the highlights of my academic experience here is the encouragement to think innovatively.
The Sapienza University of Rome has a lot of international students. It is also the third-ranked university in the national rankings. Also the city of Rome is beautiful. It is so historical and huge.
View moreFaculty of Architecture (La Sapienza University) at the Valle Giulia headquarters. University well connected and well served. There is also access for the disabled, disabled toilets and disabled parking spaces available, but there is no real bar, in fact for us students there are only two machines available. The student secretariat is a mess, with unfriendly staff. The professors can’t make you passionate about the subjects, they don’t even explain how to use Autodesk programs, we were born to learn for them. The rest of the environment is beautiful, the university is located in a wonderful place.
View moreI am enrolled in a master’s degree program in architecture(conservation). The courses are interesting and the professors are really helpful. The city is rich with touristic sites which are very nice. You really can’t get bored here.
View moreHello, I’m Dicle, I’m 25 years old and I’m an architect. After I finished school, I decided to do my master’s in Italy. The reason I chose Rome is because I care about architectural conservation and Rome is a unique city for that. I am studying at La Sapienza University and I am quite satisfied. Our teachers are very caring and successful people. I recommend that you do a master’s degree and especially in a country other than your own. Best regards…
View moreWhen you say Architecture, you think of Rome immediately. I choose LaSapienza for an exchange program this year to check that one out of my checklist. I must admit, it was the best idea ever! LaSapienza is the most prestigious university in Italy and a big landmark university in Europe. The campus is spread out around the city, with different faculties in different locations, but the main campus generalizes a big portion of faculties. I love the faculty of Architecture and the different masters they offer, the only thing that can get better is the university communication / administrative side of it, but at the same time, there are 112000 students enrolled. Also being someone who plays sports a lot, The sports center of the university is far away, there is a direct bus line from the main campus to the sports center, but still a very long ride (1hour-1hour and 30min). Overall, I am enjoying this University so much, and would definitely recommend it to any architecture student!
View moreIt is a high ranked university in Italy and Europe. I am really interested in the friendly atmosphere and university facilities. The academic level is acceptable too. An important advantage of studying architecture here is that not only you will learn from the academic environment of the university but you will also experience amazing architectural views of Rome.
If you have a plan to study in Italy, I recommend it.
