I’m an international student at the university of Pisa. It’s a competitive and leading research centers in Europe. It’s also among the elite universities throughout the world.
The thing that I want to emphasize on is it’s cultural diversity. University of Pisa has one of the best international student system which brings together students from different background to work together. Besides the academic activities, the community of University of Pisa provides a platform of understanding one another to work together.
In addition, it’s located in one of the beautiful and old city I been to.
Thank you for having me.
Overall the university and its facilities are good maybe better than expected. But I noticed that some professors are aggressive and I don’t know they kind of seem to show you that you don’t know much rather than show you what you don’t know. But other than that I found accommodation pretty easily. Campus life is barely existent because of how the universities are structured. Overall it’s average.
View moreI love majority of the teachers as they’re prominent researchers in their fields and so very knowledgeable. Location is at the center of a small historical calm town in italy. Friendly staff, students!
View moreIt’s a very good university, professors are really good and kind. Their classes are fully equipped and the schedule is very good. Their labs are very well organized and equipped. I think it is a good university to study biological sciences
View moreAn excellent university for international students. It is an university which is inclusive of international students coming from all over tge world, affordable and with high educational quality. The professors are highly skilled and with a good accademic performance and publications.
View moreUniversity of Pisa is a well known university in Italy. As a neuroscience student, I find the coursework challenging but rewarding. The professors are knowledgeable. The university offers many research opportunities. Unlike a centralized campus, the University has its buildings scattered throughout the city. This makes it feel more integrated into the local culture but can be inconvenient when moving between classes. There’s a diverse student body, including many international students, which creates a multicultural environment. However, social life depends a lot on personal effort, as there aren’t as many organized activities.Pisa is a small but charming city. The cost of living is relatively affordable compared to other Italian cities, though finding housing can be competitive. It’s a great place for students who enjoy a relaxed environment with historical charm. Overall, my experience at the University of Pisa has been positive.
View moreI am attending University of Pisa for a course of Master’s in Neuroscience. My course is good along with the professors and the teaching activity. It’s well coordinated and I’m gaining so much. But when it comes to campus life I’m gonna say it’s poor because the campuses are dispersed throughout the city and i found it hard to make connections with other students from other departments. So overall I’m saying it’s average.
View moreI Highly recomend it. Everything is perfect. The proffessors, the class, the learning enviroment, the international student office, the people in city and the socity are all helpfull and Postive. I realy like it.
View moreUniversity of Pisa is one of the highest rated universities in the Tuscany region and even in Italy. I applied for this University with high expectations and now that I’m here and witnessing it, I’m not disappointed. First thing that caught my attention is how competent the professors are and how they always have a positive attitude. They’re
always offering help and constantly reminding their students that they should not be afraid of making mistakes. They’re very supportive. My course is Master’s in Neuroscience and I must say I’m really pleased with my choice of University. Plus their classrooms and libraries are all over the city making it easier to access from wherever you are. They’re also very comfortable and upto standard.
I enjoy learning in this university. Yes there are challenges one but the professors are quite helpful and they’re always available for any consultation. The only thing is the exams are all oral. Which is fine but it’s not one to one with the professors instead it’s in the presence of other students waiting for their turn to take the exams which doesn’t help with exam anxiety at all. Plus there’s always room for bias with oral exams. Other than that I would say it’s a very good university.
