    Bocconi: Italian Quality

The great thing about this University is that it is one of the few Italian universities offering such international programs. My course is unique and doesn’t exist anywhere else, so if you like arts and economics, Bocconi is the best place. The course provides both subjects concerning arts/philosophy, and ones more related to economics. Personally, I have decided to follow a different path because I am not so interested in working in this specific field, but this course is totally worth it if you want to work in a creative industry. Indeed, it gives people with a passion for luxury, arts and so on with a complete knowledge concerning management.
The best part has been the great support offered by the University in every aspect, going from on-campus facilities to monthly job fairs to better understand the kind of career we want to pursue. This is often taken for granted in Italian universities.

Hi, Alessandra hope you’re well, I’m thinking of studying there as well this year, however I am worried because many people say that the bachelor programmes are not worth the money spent and that if you don’t want to work in Finance later on it’s not worth it. I didn’t want to study a humanistic topic entirely on it’s because I worried later on for the job world so I thought combining it with Econ would be very nice as well as interesting. Could you maybe help me out a bit, I would be very grateful. Later on I also want to work preferably in the creative industry or journalism. What do you think?

An Eye-opening Program and University Environment

My time at Bocconi has been an eye-opening journey. As an international student in the Economics and Management for Arts, Culture, and Communication (BEMACC) program, I love how the courses combine business with the creative industries. The mix of economics, management, and culture makes learning both practical and engaging. The professors really try to go above and beyond to make sure we understand the contents.

Apart from academics, Bocconi offers so many opportunities to grow. Being part of student organizations like AIESEC and Women in Business has helped me develop leadership skills, meet amazing people, and explore different career paths. The career services and networking events have also been super helpful in preparing for the future by making webinars and doing CV checks.

I really appreciate is how Bocconi challenges you to think critically and push your limits. The workload can be intense, but it teaches you how to manage time, work under pressure, and constantly improve. There’s a strong focus on applying what you learn, which makes the experience feel meaningful and rewarding.

In Bocconi, you can create meaningful connections, gain international academic education, and accelerate your career. If you are looking for a university that combine academic, career enhancement, and networking opportunities, definitely try Bocconi!

    Perfect in the best ways

Bocconi University’s dedication to diversity and sizable foreign student body make it stand out. Its distinctive programs are quite appealing to me. With its cutting-edge courses, the university creates a lively and welcoming atmosphere. To anyone looking for equality and a vibrant, diversified culture, I would heartily suggest it. Despite not being your usual expansive green area, the campus is quite lovely and has well-equipped classrooms and a good gym. Additionally noteworthy is Bocconi University’s commitment to student achievement, which includes offering a wealth of support resources to students pursuing any degree.

I am currently a bachelor student here and I love the environment and the social life in bocconi. The classes are also really helpful and interactive. Especially, since bocconi focuses on economics specifically across all domains it is an amazing community to be in

Take my word for it, it's a good school.

It is a great place surrounded by really smart people. There are many professors willing to help you, you just have to seek help because of the class sizes. Bocconi University has many very qualified professors and educational opportunities for all students in a large number of programs to offer its students.

    The simplicity of networking

Life revolves around journeys and university is one of the greatest journeys. I believe that Bocconi fits into this path very well. First of all, the communication inside Bocconi is amazing. For example, I had some problems with funding and the related turned back to me within just 2 hours. Second of all, Bocconi offers a wide range of freedom. For instance, I am in the Student Ambassador Team which is one of the many ways to express myself within the community. However, like every thing in life Bocconi has disadvantages. For me the biggest problem was the commodity of classes. The chairs are not comfortable and there is not so much space to put my belongings on the table. In conclusion, even Bocconi has some problems, they can be solved. Furthermore, all the advantages set off the disadvantages.

    Management for arts and culture

I’ve attended the Bachelor in Economics and Management for arts, culture and communication. I would make this choice again, because I was able to learn about both traditional economy and more humanistic subjects (e.g, philosophy of arts, modern arts…). The majority of professors are very qualified, but the content of certain courses is not so well designed. I had the same collegues for all the three years and the athmosphere during the classes was not competitive nor tense. The fact that the class was international enriched the class participation.

    Bocconi

I attend Bocconi University in Milan, which is one of the leading universities for management in Europe and the world. The program I chose is management and economics for arts, culture and communication. Due to my artistic side, I really appreciate the extra subjects we have apart from the “classic” management program. For instance, we have the philosophy of art where many books are read and analysed. The professors are good, however, some of them struggle a bit with English due to their Italian origin. Apart from that, the university is very well organised and professional, hence, it is easy to obtain information or help whenever required. The students are international, but of which a big fraction is Italian. There is a lot to study and to prepare for an exam, hard work is needed. In order to have average grades, you don’t need that much effort. However, to have top grades a LOT of studying is needed. Furthermore, Milan is a great city to live. It was a bit expensive but worth it. I recommend Bocconi to anyone who is willing to work hard, but also have an extraordinary university life!

A perfect combination between arts and economy

The program is very well done and organized, The study plan includes a wide variety of courses and this makes all the students develop a critical spirit and a wide knowledge of different fields. This course, in fact, is perfect if you like arts and creative disciplines in general but you want to know more about business and how to apply it in the fields of the creative sector.
The professors are all very qualified and always available to help you and to organize office hours in which to discuss the classes or about something you want to know more in-depth.
The campus is great, it is located in the centre of Milan and around it there lot of bars/restaurants where to take a break (or celebrate the end of the exams :))
besides, there are a lot of facilities like a huge library and a lot of study rooms, 3 dining halls and a completely new and very modern gym.

    Not international

Although the university calls itself international, there is about a 10% rate of internationals per class, the professors are majority Italian and do not speak English well. As an international student bonding with people in the class is extremely difficult as the only time with students is during class, and we are about 150 per class.
