In the program of PhD course, I really like that the main goal is to focus on my own research, there are no obligatory lessons, that are unnecessary and do not cover my research background. In the first year of the course there are 2 obligatory courses (to choose from, depending on the interest). Moreover, the PhD course gives a lot of opportunities to gain new experience abroad – in training or summer schools, internships, conferences etc.

What I do not like, is that unfortunately, my department is not well equipped with different kinds of instruments. There are just a few main instruments, and some of them are not working. Another thing that I would highlight is that laboratories are dirty, there are a lot of unnecessary things everywhere, and there is no specific organization and technician that would also take care of it.

Despite everything, I recommend applying to my course, for someone who has ambitions to broaden their knowledge

I like UNIVM because you can develop your dreams in an environment full of initiatives and with a lot of courses. The structure has a lot of space for your activities like a lot of labs or a lot of common space for team activities.
