at Mary Immaculate College - MIC

MIC in Thurles is a very small college, almost like a school. Lecturers know everybody by first name and you will always receive a hello from those you pass in the hallway. Everyone is there for ye same reason, to become a teacher. Hence there is a strong sense of togetherness and unity in the college. Librarians, kitchen staff and security are all part of the team and are there to offer a friendly smile or a piece of advice whenever needed. The tankard of teaching here is excellent with 99% of students going forward and finding jobs within their first year of leaving college. I highly recommend this college as the beginning of your path to becoming a teacher.
