As an alumnus of American College Dublin, I can say it’s truly one of Ireland’s standout institutions for higher learning. The quality of education is excellent, and every student receives the attention and support they need to succeed.

The lecturers and professors are incredibly encouraging always approachable, enthusiastic, and ready to help whenever needed. Their genuine passion for teaching and commitment to student success made a lasting impact on my academic journey.

My experience at American College Dublin was both inspiring and fulfilling, and I’m proud to have studied in such a welcoming and supportive academic environment.

ACD appears to be on the brink of closing. My daughter was a student there that withdrew from the university according to their guidelines and has yet to receive her refund of unused tuition. ACD has acknowledged their responsibility to refund the funds owed but have come up with multiple excuses since January 2025 as to why they can’t pay.

ACD also seems to be struggling Academically with retention of staff, including professors. My daughter experienced the switching of professor’s mid-semester as well as changes of scheduling to very inefficient times of day and locations where classes were held. Had we known the poor quality of ACD and lack of financial responsibility my daughter would have never attended here.

This University is a premier institution of higher learning in Ireland. The level of education is excellent and every student is supported. The staff and lecturers are always on hand to help you in any way they can. I like how enthused and eager to help they all are. It’s really encouraging

The city surrounding ACD is buzzing with activity and offers a diverse range of services and activities specifically tailored for students like us. The fact that students are actively involved in managing the city through various groups and clubs must create a strong sense of ownership and belonging. Having access to amazing accommodations in a convenient location is definitely a huge advantage. It’s heartwarming to know that the setting is welcoming and the campus itself is beautiful.
