From my own experience I found the campus offered freedom of choice to live a great university life but also so much choice. My course was also very intense so to have the right resources such as student hubs, library, gym made life so much easier. Being very independent as a student in making friends and working hard I found that this made the facilities accessible for me however I can see how college life would have been difficult for people who were more introverted because of the lack of organised student meet-ups as part of say a module. I definitely noted that some people found it hard to make friends and simply needed more opportunities to integrate moresocialising within their course modules which could have helped others.
