I’ve really enjoyed my first year at UCC. There is always a great atmosphere around campus with groups of people chatting, studying, or relaxing between classes there is always a good buzz around. The library provides a great place to study. Big bright rooms with loads of space create a comfortable environment to study. The people at the front desk however can sometimes be a little cold with you when you need help but that’s a minor thing in relation to all the libraries perks. The variety in activities and clubs or societies around UCC means there is never a dull day. It is intimidating joining a club or society by yourself but it does reap benefits in the long term.
