As a Psychology student at Brawijaya University, my experience in this program has been largely positive. The program offers a well-balanced combination of psychological theory and practical skill development, which I believe is essential for a comprehensive understanding of human behavior.
One of the aspects I appreciate most about this program is its emphasis on the real-world application of psychological theories in various contexts, such as education, organizations, and mental health. The university’s focus on employability skills, including access to workshops, internships, and community service programs, has been incredibly helpful in preparing students for professional careers.
The facilities at Brawijaya University, such as the psychology laboratory and library, are excellent. Furthermore, the lecturers are knowledgeable and supportive, always ready to provide guidance when needed.
However, like any program, there are areas that could be improved. I feel that applied psychology modules, such as industrial and organizational psychology or intervention approaches, could be explored in greater depth. Additionally, group projects can sometimes be challenging due to differences in commitment levels among team members.
Overall, I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to master both the theory and practice of psychology, especially for those aiming to bridge the gap between psychological science and workplace needs.
