Studied at Brawijaya University provided a rewarding experience, offering an opportunity to delve deeper into the realms of social construction and social problems from a sociological perspective. Through this study, I gained a wealth of knowledge and insights, enabling me to explore the complexities of societal issues with a critical lens.The study allowed me to engage with various theories and frameworks that underpin social construction, illuminating how perceptions, norms, and values shape our understanding of reality. It provided a platform to examine how social problems are not merely objective phenomena but are constructed and defined through social processes, power dynamics, and cultural contexts.

Moreover, the review study facilitated an exploration of diverse perspectives and viewpoints, fostering a deeper understanding of how different social groups experience and interpret social issues. By adopting a sociological view, I learned to analyze social problems through the lens of inequality, power structures, and historical dynamics, thereby uncovering underlying causes and potential avenues for addressing them.

Overall, the review study at Brawijaya University was instrumental in broadening my understanding of social construction and social problems, equipping me with the analytical tools and knowledge to critically examine and engage with contemporary societal challenges. It was a profoundly enriching experience that deepened my appreciation for the complexities of the social world and inspired me to contribute meaningfully to addressing pressing issues in society.

I like the atmosphere of the uni because of the big trees and the perfect fit of old and modern architecture buildings. Each faculty/department had its own cafeteria with various meal options and price rage. The staff, including the janitors were super nice. But the administrative staff at my faculty didn’t help much. All lecturers at my department maintained great communication bond with each students and that helped boost our confidence in every discussions.

I was a medical student in University of Brawijaya starting 2011 to 2017. My study experiences were very diverse; some quite exhilarating, some just usual students’ tasks. One can expect to get to know not only basic medical theories and textbooks while studying there. Getting to know various histological tissues in the Laboratory of Anatomy and spending long hours discussing medical cases under project-based learning procedures would be the common norm there. Overall, qualifying in the medical practice is the definitely the focus of the studies and not just getting acceptable theory grades.

Hi, I’m Florence, I’m a final semester student at this campus, I majored in animal husbandry and I’m very grateful to be accepted and at the same time study with great people here. The vocational field that I like here is facilitated by many things, from comfortable classrooms to complete and adequate laboratory facilities for conducting research according to the subjects here. I am very proud to study and study here. In addition to the advantages above, several drawbacks must be addressed, especially in academic terms. and administrative affairs for final-year students and new students
