I was a medical student in University of Brawijaya starting 2011 to 2017. My study experiences were very diverse; some quite exhilarating, some just usual students’ tasks. One can expect to get to know not only basic medical theories and textbooks while studying there. Getting to know various histological tissues in the Laboratory of Anatomy and spending long hours discussing medical cases under project-based learning procedures would be the common norm there. Overall, qualifying in the medical practice is the definitely the focus of the studies and not just getting acceptable theory grades.
