View moreDuring my studies at Diponegoro University, particularly in the Tax Accounting Department, I experienced many benefits.
These ranged from the ease of obtaining lecture materials and a student service system that could be accessed through any device, to satisfactory academic services.
This study programme also required students to obtain certification, so that we, the students, were equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the world of work.

View moreAs a new student at Diponegoro University, I’ve been impressed by the balance between affordability and the quality of education offered. One of UNDIP’s strongest points is that the tuition fees are relatively low compared to many other top universities, yet the academic quality especially in programs like International Relations remains competitive and comprehensive.
The university is clearly in a phase of rapid development. You can see ongoing pembangunan (construction and improvement) almost everywhere on campus, there’s new buildings, upgraded facilities, and expanded student centers. While it can be a bit inconvenient at times, it’s actually a positive sign of UNDIP’s commitment to progress and better student experiences.
Beyond academics, UNDIP provides a lot of opportunities such as competitions, organizational involvement, public discussions, and international programs. These allow students to grow not just in knowledge, but also in leadership, soft skills, and networking. However, some basic facilities still need improvements, like older classrooms and inconsistent Wi-Fi in certain areas.
Would you recommend this university?
Yes, especially for students who are looking for a university with strong potential, affordable fees, and various opportunities for involvement. The quality of education is solid, and the campus is evolving in a good direction. UNDIP might not be perfect yet but it’s definitely a place full of growth, chances, and bright futures.
Diponegoro University (UNDIP) is known as one of the best state universities in Indonesia. Faculties such as Medicine, Engineering, Law, and Science & Mathematics have a strong reputation, both nationally and internationally. The curriculum is continuously updated and many lecturers have overseas educational backgrounds and are active in research, which supports the quality of learning and scientific development on campus.
UNDIP’s main campus is located in Tembalang, Semarang, with a spacious, green, and quite beautiful environment. Facilities such as libraries, laboratories, research centers, and sports facilities are quite complete to support students’ academic and non-academic activities. Access to transportation on campus is also available via campus buses, making it easier for students to move and access between faculties or other campus facilities.
The academic atmosphere at UNDIP is quite competitive but remains inclusive. There are many student activities that support the development of soft skills, ranging from organizations, research communities, to social and environmental activities. UNDIP is also active in student exchange programs and community service activities such as Real Work Lectures (KKN). The primary language of instruction is Bahasa Indonesia, but English language skills are strongly encouraged, especially for publications and academic assignments. Students from various regions in Indonesia and abroad contribute to the culturally diverse campus atmosphere.
