a reputable university in Indonesia with a various disciplines to offer. Tuition fee is quite affordable and many scholarships are also available.
I studied at the Faculty of Communication, Communication Science Program, and it has a solid reputation and highly regarded in Indonesia as well known as The First Communication Faculty in Indonesia. The curriculum offered is comprehensive that covers various aspects of communication including journalism, media studies, advertising, and public relations. this is a good thing but also a minus point for me, because it seems very general and not focused in one area of ​​study.
The lecturers here generally very good, credible and teach very well, although there are some who are stern and their way of teaching is less understandable. what i feel so different study here compare to another university, is the assignment especially the final semester assignment for each subjects is so various and quite hard to be done.
The students are very diverse and studying here feels like you can meet people from all over Indonesia. Of course, it’s very fun and fresh for me because you meet people with different languages and cultures. Apart from academic learning, UNPAD also has various non-academic student activity units that can be participated in to hone other skills of interest.
the location I studied in (Jatinangor Campus) is the best location for me compared to another location of padjadjaran university. I love the atmosphere there, it makes me so comfortable, and the living cost is also very cheap.
However, minus points for me is about the administrative issues, aging facilities, and somehow i feel like UNPAD is so overcrowded. the administrative processes here somehow slow and cumbersome, and the communication from administration to students and staff sometimes leading to confusion and frustration, and the downside about the location is the Jatinangor highway, which is always passed by buses and large trucks, causes pollution and is prone to accidents.

Overall UNPAD has good facilities as one of the best universities in Indonesia. There are many subjects to choose from depending on students interests and talents. The tuition fee is affordable and many scholarships are also available. I strongly recommend anyone to studi at UNPAD.
