I have studied my Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy at this college. Being from the 2010 batch, we went through many changes in our course, the first being the shift from the 4th floor of the hospital being used for college to a whole building for ourselves to the last one, leaving the college to go work in our preferred fields. Primarily, the changes were related to a change in the atmosphere for me as I was from another city.
I have spent 5 memorable years here. It has shaped me into a confident young woman and a professional physiotherapist that I am today. From the very first day, we were taught to believe in ourselves and to ask whatever doubts we had. Every professor has taken immense effort in painstakingly explaining everything relevant to the subject and has been very patient, kind, caring, well read and updated in their subject. It is no doubt that the college prides itself in their brilliant faculty and Alumni. Sancheti is known for bringing out the best medical professionals in the country and I saw them being made in front of my eyes.
As far as the practical side is concerned, the staff at the hospitals consists of a mixture of the professors who visit every morning to monitor the skills being taught in the classrooms and the hospital staff themselves who take up the job as temporary mentors.
The bond formed between the students is very strong as they are a tight-knit group of people who are very keen on helping the population with various ailments.
I would absolutely recommend this college to anyone who is interested in learning physiotherapy as their career. Sancheti College makes you not only a smart professional but also gives you the tools to tackle any problem you have in life. No matter what anybody says about this college, the students passed out from this college miss it immensely.
