Studying in one of the most prestigious central government institutions in the country Narsee Monjee has altogether been a life-changing experience.
The campus of our college is really beautiful.
The classes are spacious and the temperature of the rooms is well controlled.
The exposure to the industries and Mumbai opportunities is unmatched. Well on the same side, the rigid rules and some illogical regulations can sometimes stand against your way of living. Even the high fees and the competition within the premises to even score average is insane.
UVic has several places to eat on campus although they can sometimes be costly. Most students eat Mystic Market which has pizzas, chop box for noodles, Booster Juice, coffee and a general store. Its also a good place to study and get work done. The SUB (student union building) is also a popular place to eat. They have the health bar and a smoothie place for those that prefer lighter, healthier meals. There is also a grill available. Other than that there is the MOD where residents eat. The MOD serves hot dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. – 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Some buildings, such as the Bob Wright center and the Fine Arts building have their own small café/eateries. They may close sooner than the MOD.
Another popular place to eat/study is the Biblio cafe, right next to the library. Here you can enjoy hot and cold beverages and small snacks. I love sitting in Biblio booths with my friends. You are also free to get a coffee and work inside the library. Covid restrictions may change that though.
Overall, UVic has several places to eat and grab quick meals from.
