My experience at Chandigarh University has been a memorable one. One of the things I truly appreciated was the university’s marking system—it felt fair, transparent, and well-structured. Continuous assessments, internal exams, and project-based evaluations helped me stay engaged and track my progress throughout the semester. However, I found the attendance system quite rigid. The strict minimum requirement often felt inflexible, especially during times when students had valid personal or academic commitments outside the classroom. Despite that, my overall college life was amazing. I made lifelong friends and shared countless unforgettable moments with them—whether it was late-night study sessions, spontaneous outings, or cultural events on campus. The university environment was vibrant and diverse, offering opportunities to grow both academically and personally. Faculty members were supportive, and the infrastructure was modern and student friendly. I genuinely believe my time here helped shape my confidence and broaden my perspective.

I did MBA in International Business and Entrepreneurship to gain 360° holistic buisness approach. My MBA was not limited to classroom education as I have done additional course alongside- Value Added Course from CASSM IDC on Sustainable Business in the Global Context, where I was taught by global faculties as well. A part from this I was a Class Representative of nearly 100 students for three semesters and was Batch Representative at Board of Studies Meeting to Represent my batch of 1800 students. I have also been a liaison officer in Corporate Advisory Board Meeting at Chandigarh University and an active student coordinator in events at departmental and university level.

Overall, I’ve had a great experience at Chandigarh University. Learning was successful and engaging because of the lecturers’ high level of expertise and approachability. With a wide variety of clubs and activities to choose from, campus life is lively and diverse. I was particularly impressed by the university’s career services, which enabled me to land a fantastic internship in my third year.

The slowness of various administrative procedures, like paperwork and course registration, is a drawback that may be addressed. Nonetheless, I would unquestionably suggest this university to anyone seeking a balance between coursework and extracurricular activities.

The thing which I like about CU is its splendid Tashan nights which definitely keeps a jazz atmosphere to give you a vibe everytime it happens in the campus. On recent Tashan nights, I get to see Gurnam Bhullar who is such a big Punjabi singer. I danced to his songs sung by him that too in a live program.

I joined CU on the suggestion of my uncle. After that my father and brother also researched and found CU a better place to study. On joining, I found that it has been a good decision to study here as we are being prepared for placements by the university. Even the university world depends on my soft skills too. I must admit that I was a nervous student before but after joining CU, I have gained a lot of confidence and I am confident that I can face any interview with ease.

Chandigarh University is such an amazing university. Just look at infrastructural facilities, it is just wow. I live in a hostel where I get all the facilities. Talking about hostel’s food, it is so delicious and whenever I want to eat food outside, dude there are so many food outlets where I can bring a change in my taste buds.

When I joined Chandigarh University, counselors helped me a lot in solving my queries. After initiating the CSE course, I learned a lot. The syllabus is so helpful and I also got to learn coding. It was a really nice experience as I have made friends, my seniors are really cool. There were so many events which were fun and learning.

Whatever learning and education I am gaining here, is totally up to mark. Whatever we are taught in theoretical classes, their real time applications are also taught to us. We are taught about the usage of theoretical learning in the real time world.

The university is absolutely a perfect place to study if anyone wants to gain practical exposure as it provides hands-on learning, internship, industrial visits and classes in modernized labs which obviously make a person job ready. This I can say with 100% assurance because I have seen a positive change in myself.

Chandigarh University’s diversity is not just about numbers; it is a melting pot of cultures, fostering a unique learning environment where everyone brings something special to the table. I am really enjoying here.
