Studying medicine at Manipal Academy of Higher Education was an intense yet incredibly fulfilling journey. The campus is like a small city, with excellent facilities ranging from advanced medical labs to a fully functional teaching hospital. What sets Manipal apart is its focus on holistic education – alongside academics, students are encouraged to participate in cultural and sports events. The Anatomy Museum, with its vast collection of specimens, was both fascinating and instrumental for our studies. One unique aspect is the “Open Mic Nights” organized by students, offering a break from the rigorous curriculum. Manipal’s location, nestled between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea, provides opportunities for weekend getaways, making student life even more enjoyable. The course load was challenging, but the support from peers and mentors was invaluable. Manipal prepared me not only as a doctor but as a well-rounded individual ready to face the world.
