MAHE is located in a University town with students from all over India and to my surprise, all over the world.
I was a football loving pharmacy student from Nigeria with no idea of what to expect besides an excellent education. However MAHE showed me a different side of India where I made lifelong connections.
The big culture shock from an educational perspective is having lectures on Saturdays. Besides that MAHE has everything to offer.
As a pharmacy student, the classes and lecturers provided all the information needed with well equipped labs for real time demonstrations.

I highly recommend this university for anyone seeking to do their graduaton, post-graduation or research in fields varying from medicine, engineering, media, commerce, hotel management, politics, law and philosophy. This campus is a meeting point of students from all over the world where there is no need for anyone to stay clueless at any instant of their lives as there will be others to help and guide you in the right path as teachers, friends and seniors.

If I had the chance to go back to college all over again, I’d keep choosing the same university. Manipal is reknown for its student life, beautiful sceneries, chill culture and vibrance, so I won’t dwell much on that. Instead, I’ll emphasise on the less-spoken academic environment in this happening student town. The research climate is robust and I’d say my BTech Biotechnology program from Manipal Institute of Technology definitely has definitely equipped me with industry-relevant knowledge and also an ability to comprehend complex research articles. I’ve noticed that I often stand out from students of other colleges who are also at my level. The assessment pattern is quite unique and tests our thinking and understanding of concepts more than memory. There is strong international research collaboration and the university has tie ups with amazing universities globally.
There are a plethora of clubs and student chapters that one could be a part of and there is a community to cater to all kinds of interests and activities.

Manipal Dubai offers a solid academic foundation with great faculty in business and tech programs. The campus is modern, and there’s a good mix of international students, which keeps things diverse. What stood out for me was the support from professors—they’re approachable and genuinely want you to grow. That said, career services could be more aggressive in bringing in top-tier companies for placements. Overall, if you’re proactive, there’s a lot you can get out of it.
