As an IT student at Tribhuvan University, my overall learning journey has been both enriching and memorable. TU provided me with the opportunity to grow academically while building valuable connections.
The university offers a wide range of faculties, from Humanities to Science and Technology. During my time here, I had the chance to meet friends, lecturers, and classmates from diverse backgrounds, which has undoubtedly increased my understanding and knowledge in different fields.
That being said, there were some challenges along the way. One of the major drawbacks I experienced was the poor physical infrastructure. Many of the facilities and resources are outdated, and academic schedules occasionally face delays, causing frustation among the academic staffs and the students.
Despite these issues, I believe the overall experience at TU was positive. The university holds historical significance and continues to produce skilled graduates in various fields, including Information Technology.

On one hand, it opened doors to the world of tech with an affordable program and some genuinely passionate professors who cared about our growth. I’ll never forget the joy of completing challenging projects and the friendships I built along the way.
But, let’s be real—it’s not all rosy. The curriculum feels outdated, and the lack of proper labs made practical learning a struggle. Waiting endlessly for exam results and dealing with disorganized schedules tested my patience more than once.
Still, this program taught me resilience and the value of self-learning. If you’re ready to hustle and supplement your education with your own efforts, TU’s BCA can be worth it. Just don’t expect everything to be handed to you—this is a place where you’ll have to carve your own path.
