View moreJNTUH is the topmost University in Telangana and stands at top 15 in India. This thing made me choose JNTUH over other colleges for my bachelor’s degree. I got admitted into JNTUH through ECET counselling. Our college has 3 libraries which are the main attraction about campus. We have separate department for and placement cells which is helping students for improving their chances cracking jobs in many companies. Most of the students get placed from our college and rest of them continue higher studies. Campus has hostels, libraries, cafeteria and a playground. The only thing I don’t like my college is its cafeteria. they only have bakery items and nothing else. Sports are major addition for students to choose this college. I have opted for pg. hostel and got it. The hostel fee ranges from 2500 to 3000. It’s pretty cheap in Hyderabad. We have good food and hygienic mess hall which can accommodate about 200 students at a time.
View moreI’m currently studying Computer Science (Data Science) at IARE Hyderabad which is JNTU affliated , and overall it’s been a decent experience. The college offers a good environment to learn if you’re someone who takes initiative.
Most of the faculty members are helpful and know their subjects well, especially in machine learning and cloud. I liked that we were encouraged to work on real time projects, and I got to explore things like AWS, Python, and NLP in actual practical ways.
What stood out for me was the chance to be involved in tech fests and event promotions .I designed media for events, and it gave me confidence beyond just classroom learning.
On the downside, placements can be better — especially for newer tech roles or startups. But if you’re serious about your growth and take charge, you’ll get a lot out of it.
I say the college gives you the tools, but how far you go depends on you. I’d recommend it to someone who’s motivated and looking to build a base in tech.
View moreMy experience at JNTUH was overall positive. The university has a strong academic reputation, especially in engineering and technology streams. I appreciated the well-structured curriculum and the exposure to both theoretical and practical aspects of the subjects. The faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive, though sometimes the student-to-teacher ratio made it hard to get personalized attention. One of the things I liked most was the campus environment—it’s spacious, with good infrastructure and access to libraries and labs. On the downside, administrative processes can be a bit slow, and placements largely depend on the branch you’re in. I would recommend JNTUH to students who are serious about building a solid academic foundation, especially in engineering or technical fields. With self-motivation and active involvement, students can make the most of the opportunities available here.
