Overall, my time here has been really good. The teachers are friendly, explain things clearly, and are always ready to help. The syllabus is decent and covers both theory and practical parts. The campus vibe is nice, and activities outside of class help a lot in building confidence. The only downside is that some facilities and admin work are a bit slow at times. But apart from that, it’s a good place to study and grow.

View moreMy experience at Jamia Millia Islamia while pursuing BSc Mathematics was quite positive overall. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, and the curriculum is well-structured with a strong balance between theoretical and applied aspects of mathematics.
When COVID hit and lockdowns were imposed, the university managed to continue classes online, which helped us maintain continuity in our learning despite the challenges. Of course, online learning had its limitations in terms of interaction and access to campus resources, but the effort made by professors to adapt was commendable.
What I liked most was the commitment of the teachers and the academic rigor of the program. What I missed, however, was the full campus experience, including peer interactions and extracurricular activities, due to the pandemic restrictions.
I would recommend this program to students who are genuinely passionate about mathematics and are looking for a supportive academic environment.
View moreJamia millia islamia offers a rich cultural environment with welcoming and diverse student body. Mixed beautiful heritage but some outdated labs and canteen facilities with overcrowded hostels. Faculties is supportive but in campus there is a polarised political environment also.
View moreJamia Millia Islamia University is truly an outstanding university. It’s a dream to study over here. According to NIRF, university stands 3rd rank in India. This is really an achievement for us. Many says it’s a Oxford for muslim students. I feel that yes one should study in this university as it’s in Delhi and here the exposure you’ll get is really amazing. But still we need improvement in some areas.
