The experience of taking admission in Delhi university for my batchelors degree is my correct decision in my life I really enjoy my college life and the teachers are also so valuable for us if you have any doubt they were ever ready to solve it and explain it the university is so nice

Delhi University is one of the finest university in India which is located in the heart of India Delhi(Capital City). There are 91 colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi. the professors are really nice and professional. Books are also very understandable .

Professors in this University are great. They teach with great efficiency and various teaching methods like virtually and also when needed one to one sessions.
They take responsibilty of the students and give their best

As Delhi university is collegiate university so different colleges of both North and South campus have various category of canteen. Talking about Maitreyi’s canteen it is quite good. In terms of food it is fine. There is wide variety of items but if we talk about infrastructure it is not good. There are limited chair and most of the you don’t get chair . You have to stand and eat . Otherwise canteen and it’s food is o.k.

College is located in vip area and surrounding is very beautiful. Maitreyi is really very good and its infrastructure is very good faculty and very helpful.

In terms of study and exposure Delhi university is one of the best university but when it come to accommodation it is pathetic. Life is terrible for students because college have limited seats in their hostel so that other students have to look for room and pg. The condition of accommodation sooo bad that you can’t even find a single room in good condition. If you find so then the prices are more than your fees. It costs so much. There are small room with minimum facilities. And the broker and owner are too pricey. They don’t care about your needs all they want money. Things are very depressing at some point. If you got hostel it is best you can your college life well but accommodation outside is just terrible. They all exploit students and make money and there is issue of food also..in some pg they provide food but again they costs so much and the food is not worth of that money. Things are expensive in students areas. I hate these things being student of Delhi university. There should be proper accommodation system cause most of the students are from outside and far from home. But again I must the college environment and studies are good expect some of the college of the off campus. For accommodation I must say look for some residential area rather than students’ hub.

The environment of my College- Maitreyi is so peaceful and soothing. You can spend whole day in college between the nature .Gardens of Maitreyi are one of the key factor for which this college is famous and choice of every DU students.
Every year DU organise annual flower show competition in which all the DU college participate and Maitreyi is winner of the competition from past three years and this year i.e. 2023 it ranked second. Spending time in such a soothing environment is totally worth it. It connects you to nature and make you sensitive towards our environment. In my opinion if you are an Anthophile kinda person you will surely enjoy this environment. And during spring season the beauty of garden of our college is exceptional, you will surely love it.

Currently, I am pursuing a B.A.programme from the well-known College of DU– Maitreya College.
The environment of my College so soothing. The college is close to nature and this resultant beautiful gardens-one of the known factors of Maitreya. Students spent most of the time in the garden between the nature.
Talking about infrastructure, it is well maintained and the science block of our College is the cherry on the cake.
The professors and other staff of this College are very supportive and understanding. At equal intervals of time, the College organizes many programs and webinars on the campus and encourages extra curricular activities among students.
You can enjoy a Placement experience here and interact with famous companies of India. There is a lot of exposure in this College which helps you to enhance your personality. I must say come here, make memories and enjoy good long-lasting experiences.

Placements: The placement session has just begun, and many big companies have started the recruitment process. Many students got diverse internship profiles through our internship cell throughout the last two years and were able to develop new skills through that.

Infrastructure: The facilities available are very good. Many facilities like Wi-Fi, well-maintained classrooms and separate labs for different disciplines are available. The library is well maintained and has a wide range of books for most of the courses available.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. They always try to make things and concepts more simple so that the students can learn easily with the help of various examples. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it provides knowledge about various fields of commerce. Exams are not very difficult, and those who regularly attend the lectures can easily score good marks.

Delhi University is different as students here come from different states in the country and International students, so its a cultural melting pot and vibrant.

Infrastructure is good enough and more or less the same over the colleges in one area. The facilities for games are very good and much encouraged.

Teaching Staff: One of the best as they are mostly very senior people that come with a lot of academic credentials and have been associated with places like JNU. The faculty of English is simply the best. Students get time to work at their own pace and ability and in case there are any issues they get personal attention by a tutor
